Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral and Longitudinal Accelerometer Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) , Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) .
  2. Pull back the carpet to gain access to the yaw sensor.
  3. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
1 Yaw Rate Sensor Nut (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
7 N.m (62 lb in)
2 Yaw Rate Sensor

Procedure

  1. After the installation is complete, install a scan tool to the vehicle.
  2. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor.
  3. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle (with HP2) , Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle (without HP2) .
