Installation Procedure

  1. Position the EBCM (1) to the BPMV.
  2. Push the EBCM squarely onto the BPMV.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the EBCM bolts (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts in an X pattern to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
  6. If installing a new EBCM, the EBCM must be programmed and the sensor and boost valve calibration and EBCM learn processes must be performed. Refer to Control Module References .

  8. Install the ABS module splash shield (1).

  10. Install the ABS module splash shield bolts (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  12. Install the ABS module splash shield retainers (1).
