Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the water pump inlet.
  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water pump inlet.

  6. Remove the water pump inlet bolts (1).
  7. Remove the water pump inlet from the water pump.
  8. Remove and discard the water pump inlet seal.
