Liftgate Close Actuator Bracket Replacement (Except Avalanche and EXT Escalade)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Standard Wheelbase w/E61) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Extended Wheelbase w/E61) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Extended Wheelbase w/o E61) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Standard Wheelbase w/o E61) .
  2. Remove the liftgate close actuator motor control module. Refer to Liftgate Close Actuator Motor Control Module Replacement (Except Avalanche and Escalade EXT) .
  3. Remove the accessory and liftgate control module, if required. Refer to Accessory and Liftgate Control Module Replacement .
1 Liftgate Close Actuator Bracket Bolt (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
30 N.m (22 lb ft)
