Power Liftgate Sags When Open or Slowly Closes

Cause Action
DEFINITION: Open the liftgate and the lights will flash and a chime will sound. The liftgate will stay open temporarily, then slowly close.
The liftgate strut has lost pressure. Replace the liftgate strut. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement (Except Avalanche and Escalade EXT) .
