Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Power)

WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Position the rear door window approximately half way down in the door. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) . Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1	Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 5) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving. Loosen the 2 bolts that attach the window to the window regulator. Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Rear Side Door Window Regulator Disconnect the electrical connector. Transfer the power window motor to the new regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement .

Preliminary Procedures

Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Position the rear door window approximately half way down in the door.
Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) .
Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 5)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving.
Loosen the 2 bolts that attach the window to the window regulator.

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Rear Side Door Window Regulator

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Transfer the power window motor to the new regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement .
