Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON, engine running, verify the scan tool Battery Voltage parameter is between 12.5 and 15.5 volts.
- If not within the specified range, refer to Charging System Test . If a hybrid vehicle, refer to Charging System Test .
- Ignition ON, perform the display test with the scan tool. The charge indicator should turn ON and OFF when changing between the commanded states.
- If the indicator does not turn ON and OFF between commanded states, replace the IPC.
