Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower motor.

  2. Install the blower motor to the heater/ventilation module. Turn the blower assembly clockwise until the retaining tab locks into place.
  3. If equipped, remove the cooling duct, then skip to step 6. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Cooling Duct Replacement 
  4. Install the blower motor insulating cover.
  5. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the blower motor insulating cover screws and tighten to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).
  7. If equipped, install the sound insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Cadillac) , Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
