Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Replacement (Extended Wheelbase)

Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Replacement (Extended Wheelbase)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the HVAC module - auxiliary. Refer to Auxiliary HVAC Module Removal and Installation (Standard Wheelbase) , Auxiliary HVAC Module Removal and Installation (Extended Wheelbase) .
  2. Remove the thermal expansion valve (TXV) - auxiliary. Refer to Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement .
  3. Disconnect any wiring connectors or harnesses from the HVAC module.
1 Auxiliary HVAC Module Lower Cover Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


TIP:  Remove any fastener clips that secure cover to module.
Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 Auxiliary HVAC Module Lower Cover
3 Auxiliary HVAC Evaporator
TIP:  Ensure all seals and gaskets are in place upon installation.
