Preliminary Procedure Remove the service port cap. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Non-HP2) , Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (HP2) .
1	Air Conditioning Refrigerant Service Valve CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Use GE-46246 tool to remove the air conditioning refrigerant valve. Replace the O-ring. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement . Test the system for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing (Non HP2) , Leak Testing (HP2) . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in) Special Tools GE-46246 Valve Core Tool For equivalent region tools, refer to Special Tools .

CAUTION:

Procedure

Use GE-46246 tool to remove the air conditioning refrigerant valve.
Replace the O-ring. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .
Test the system for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing (Non HP2) , Leak Testing (HP2) .

Tighten
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
