Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, verify the park assist option is activated in the driver information center (DIC).
Select the driver outside mirror, operate mirror in all directions, verify mirror functions properly.
- If the mirror does not function properly, refer to Power Mirrors Inoperative (With AN3, DL3) .
Select the passenger outside mirror, operate mirror in all directions, verify mirror functions properly.
- If the mirror does not function properly, refer to Power Mirrors Inoperative (With AN3, DL3) .
Verify that mirror positions have been stored in the two vehicle memory features.
Operate the memory 1 and 2 recall switches, the outside rearview mirrors should adjust to the stored memory positions.
- If the mirrors do not adjust to the stored positions, refer to Power Mirrors Inoperative (With AN3, DL3) .
Park brake on, vehicle running, shift the vehicle in REVERSE, verify that the outside rearview mirrors tilt.
- If the driver outside mirror does not tilt, replace the outside rearview mirror switch.
- If the passenger outside mirror does not tilt, replace the passenger window switch.
Park brake on, vehicle running, shift the vehicle in REVERSE, verify that the outside rearview mirrors tilt.
- If the outside mirrors do not tilt, replace the memory seat control module.
