Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify that the DTC is set as current and that no other vehicle system DTCs exists.
    • If other vehicle system DTCs exists, address these DTCs before proceeding with this diagnostic test.
  2. Cycle the ignition OFF then ON, clear the DTC with a scan tool and verify that the DTC does not reset as current.
    • If the DTC resets as current, replace the BCM.
