New Special Tools Required

Timing belt tensioner retaining pin EN 46330 is used to retain the timing chain tensioner during the installation procedure.
Front cover alignment tool EN-48853 is required for the LFA application. See Special Tools . The front cover design has changed as the alignment tabs on the cover are relocated farther apart to accommodate for the usage of the new design variable-displacement oil pump. The alignment tool is designed to properly align and position a front cover with the 159 mm (6.26 in) distance alignment tabs.
