Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.
  2. Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 N.m (67 lb ft).

  3. Install the air conditioning compressor for the 4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LY2, LY5, LH6, L76, L92 and LMG) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (HP2) .
  4. Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (8.25 inch)  or Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (9.25 inch) .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
