Installation Procedure

Position the tow eye to either the latch (2) or hinge side (3) of the spare tire carrier.
Install the bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).
If replacing the hinge side, install the spare tire carrier. Refer to Spare Tire Carrier Replacement .
Secure the spare tire carrier to the rear bumper latch.
