Installation Procedure

  1. Position the bumper pad cover (1) to the bumper.

  2. Re-install the grommet and license plate lamp electrical harness through the bumper cover hole.
  3. Align the tabs on the cover to the forward edge of the rear bumper.
  4. Align the bottom tabs to the bumper.
  5. Use a rubber mallet in order to secure the bumper pad cover to the rear bumper.
  6. Connect the electrical connector at the RH end cap support brace.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  7. Install the latch side (1) spare tire carrier mount to the rear bumper.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  8. Latch and secure the spare tire carrier.
