Auxiliary Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement (Delphi)

Callout Component Name
NOTE: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the temp door actuator (2).
1 Temp Door Actuator Screws (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  2.5 N.m (16 lb in)

2 Temp Door Actuator
Procedure: 
Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
