Auxiliary Mode Valve Actuator Replacement (Delphi)

NOTE: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module. Preliminary Procedure Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) . Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.
1	Mode Actuator Screw - Auxiliary (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2.5 N.m (16 lb in)
2	Mode Actuator - Auxiliary Procedure: Re-calibrate the mode actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) .
Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.

Mode Actuator Screw - Auxiliary (Qty: 2)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 2.5 N.m (16 lb in)

Mode Actuator - Auxiliary
Procedure:
Re-calibrate the mode actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
