Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 GMC Yukon and 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: The HPCM must command the high voltage contactor relays closed in order for HVIC to be enabled. Fail will be displayed if any DTCs present at ignition ON prevent the HPCM from closing the high voltage contactor relays.
  1. Capture and then clear the DTC information.
  2. Ignition OFF, wait 2 minutes.
  3. Ignition ON, observe the HPCMs BECM HVIC Status and HPCM HVIC Status parameters.
    • The parameters should both indicate a PASS condition.
