Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTC B009F is a Type C DTC.
The SDGM reports over GMLAN that a fault has occurred. This results in the drive motor generator power inverter control module (PIM) commanding the battery energy control module (BECM) to open the high voltage contactor relays.
The SDGM commands the driver information center (DIC) on the instrument panel cluster to display the "Service Hybrid System" message via serial data communications.
