Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the driver side instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side .
    2. Fig 2: Midgate Switch

  2. Release the midgate switch clips and partially remove the midgate switch from the I/P switch carrier.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the midgate switch from the vehicle.
