Folding Seat Motor Circuit Test

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the inoperative rear folding seat motor.
- Test for less than 5 ohms between the ground circuits listed below and ground:
- Terminal B
- Terminal D
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open or high resistance.
- Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal A and ground.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for an open or high resistance.
- Connect a test lamp between the signal circuit terminal C and ground.
- The test lamp should illuminate while pressing the appropriate rear folding seat switch.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the signal circuit for an open or high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, test or replace the folding seat motor.
