Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Apply a piece of masking tape across the door handle, on the outside of the door, to secure the door handle while removing the fasteners.

  4. Disconnect the outside door handle rod (1) by releasing the retaining clips (2).

  5. Remove the 3 nuts (1) retaining the door handle to the door.
  6. Remove the door handle.
