Installation Procedure

Install the midgate latch striker and shim, if equipped, to the pillar.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the screws retaining the striker to the pillar.
Tighten: Tighten the screws retaining the midgate latch striker to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Close the midgate.
Verify midgate latch operation.
Close the window.
