200 Amp Mega Fuse and Auxiliary Electrical Center 12VDC Junction Block Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the battery positive cable. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement (12V Battery to Auxiliary BEC) or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (Control Module to Auxiliary BEC) .
1 200 Amp Mega Fuse Cover Tab (Qty: 2)

Procedure

  1. Push in on the 2 locking tabs located on each side of the cover and lift in order to remove the cover.
  2. Align the tabs on the cover with the corresponding locks on the electrical center.
2 200 Amp Mega Fuse Junction Block Nut
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Procedure: 
Disconnect the battery positive cable from the 200 amp mega fuse junction block.

Tighten:  7 N.m (62 lb in)

3 200 Amp Mega Fuse Nut
Tip:  The fuse is serviced separately P/N 19177465.

Tighten:  7 N.m (62 lb in)

4 Positive Cable to Junction Block Bolt (Qty: 2)

Procedure

  1. The bolts are part of the junction block. DO NOT try to remove.
  2. Remove the electrical center/junction block by using a hook-like tool to disengage the tabs.
  3. Disconnect electrical connector from the top of fuse block.

Tighten:  10 N.m (89 lb in)
