Preliminary Procedures Remove door upper trim panel. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Escalade) or Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Except Escalade) . Remove door window control switch. Refer to Door Lock and Side Window Switch Replacement - Driver Side and Door Lock and Side Window Switch Replacement - Passenger Side . Remove door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Inside Handle Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Front Side Door Inside Handle Assembly Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. If replacing the door handle, transfer heated seat switch to new handle. Refer to Front Seat Heater Switch Replacement (w/o KB6) .

Front Side Door Inside Handle Bolt (Qty: 2)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)

Tip:

Disconnect the electrical connector.
If replacing the door handle, transfer heated seat switch to new handle. Refer to Front Seat Heater Switch Replacement (w/o KB6) .
