Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (Pump to Engine-HP2)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the upper intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  3. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  4. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
1 Heater Inlet Hose Clamp
Procedure: 
UsingJ 38185  reposition the radiator surge tank outlet hose clamps.
Special Tools: 
J 38185  Hose Clamp Pliers
2 Heater Inlet Hose
