Heater Coolant Pump Replacement (HP2)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  3. Remove the air cleaner resonator duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the heater coolant pump electrical connector.
1 Heater Coolant Pump
Procedure: 
UsingJ 38185  reposition the heater hose clamps at pump.
Special Tools: 
J 38185  Hose Clamp Pliers
