Expansion (Orifice) Tube Replacement (W/C69-HP2)

Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Non HP2) or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (HP2) . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Orifice Tube Fitting NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: It may be necessary to remove the auxiliary pressure line to separate the orifice tube. Loosen orifice tub fitting and separate the pressure line to access the orifice. Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	O-ring Seal Tip: Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
3	Orifice Tube Assembly Tip: Use to remove orifice tube. Special Tools: J 26549-E Orifice Tube Remover. See Special Tools .
