Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Non-HP2)  or HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (HP2) .
  2. If equipped remove the heat stakes (1) from the HVAC module (2) with a screwdriver and a hammer.

  3. If equipped remove the HVAC module assembly screws.
  4. Separate the HVAC module assembly.
  5. Remove the mode actuator screws.
  6. Remove the mode actuator.
  7. Remove the mode actuator cam assembly.
  8. Remove the defroster door (8).
