Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement (Upper/Suburban/XL)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) . Remove the upper air temperature sensor, if equipped.
1	Screw, Air Duct Upper (Qty: 1) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: Release retainer on body side of duct Tighten: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2	Air Duct, Upper Tip: Carefully slide the duct up to the headliner, until the bottom edge of the duct is above the air distributor duct.

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) .
Remove the upper air temperature sensor, if equipped.

Screw, Air Duct Upper (Qty: 1)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip: Release retainer on body side of duct

Tighten: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)

Air Duct, Upper
Tip: Carefully slide the duct up to the headliner, until the bottom edge of the duct is above the air distributor duct.
