Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement (Lower/Suburban/XL)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) .
  2. Remove the air temperature sensor, if equipped.
  3. Duct has one screw holding it on, in the inside of duct must be removed.
1 Air Duct, Lower
Tip: 
  1. Small hidden screw inside duct.
  2. Squeeze the inside edge of the lower duct until the edge is clear of the air distributor duct.
