Parking Brake Shoe Replacement (2500 Series)

CAUTION: Refer to Brake Dust Caution . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (1500 Series) or Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (2500 Series) . Disconnect the park brake cable from the actuator.
1	Clip, Park Brake Shoe Retaining (Qty: 2)
2	Pin, Park Brake Shoe Retaining (Qty: 2)
3	Spring, Park Brake Shoe Lower Return
4	Screw, Park Brake Shoe Adjuster Tip: Clean the threads of the adjuster screw to remove any corrosion. Apply a light coat of high temperature brake lubricant to the adjuster screw threads. Turn the park brake shoe adjuster screw until it is fully retracted.
5	Spring, Park Brake Shoe Upper Return
6	Shoe and Lining, Park Brake (Qty: 2) Tip: When installing the park brake shoe, apply a small amount of brake lubricant to the brake shoe and the backing plate contact points. Adjust the park brake shoes. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
