Hood Front Molding Replacement (Cadillac Escalade)

Preliminary Procedure: 
Open the hood in order to access the front hood molding and retainers.
1 Hood Front Molding
Tip: 
  1. The part and surface should be 21°C (70°F) prior to installation. The vehicle should remain 21°C (70°F) for one hour after assembly to allow adhesive to develop sufficient bond strength.
  2. Release the 7 integral retainers from the hood.
  3. Upon installation, align the left hand center retainer first into the hood.
  4. Gently secure the remaining retainers working from left to right across the entire hood molding.
