Decal or Stripe Replacement (Tahoe Two-Mode Hybrid Lower Door)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Using a J 25070  or equivalent, in a circular motion, remove the old decal from both lower door panels.
  2. Remove all adhesives as follows:
    • For metal body panels use a 3M Scotch Brite® molding adhesive remover disc, 3M P/N 07502 or equivalent.
    • For plastic panels use a lint-free cloth with Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) Naptha or a 50/50 mixture, by volume of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water to remove left over adhesive.
  3. For the final preparation prior to application of the new decal, refer to Graphics/Decals/Emblems .
