Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the center console from the vehicle. Refer to Console Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  3. Remove the passengers I/P extension trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Extension Trim Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the fasteners retaining the speaker housing to the body.

  6. Partially remove the front speaker assembly from the I/P carrier.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  9. Remove the clips from front speaker assembly to expose speaker.
