Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Front Speaker Assembly Retainer Clips

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

IMPORTANT: Do not exceed torque specification over tightening of the screws will result in the stud breaking from the front floor console.

Install the retainer clips to the speaker housing.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the front speaker assembly woofer to the I/P carrier.
Install the fasteners.
Tighten: Tighten the screws 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Install the exterior trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Extension Trim Plate Replacement .
Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
