Removal Procedure

- Push the antenna mast boot (2) up in order to access the antenna mast (1) for removal.
- Remove the antenna mast (1).
- Remove the intake air duct screws (3).
- Remove the intake air duct.
- Remove the antenna base screws (1).
- Remove the passenger kick panel. Refer to Front Floor Kick-Up Panel Replacement .
- Disconnect the antenna base/cable from the instrument panel (I/P) extension cable.
- Attach a piece of wire or string to the antenna cable end at the kick panel.
- Remove the antenna cable/base (2) from the vehicle, leave the mechanics wire or string with the body.
IMPORTANT:
Attach a piece of mechanics wire or string to the antenna cable before the cable is removed from the body to ease installation and ensure proper routing after the cable/antenna base is replaced.
