Removal Procedure

  1. Push the antenna mast boot (2) up in order to access the antenna mast (1) for removal.
  2. Remove the antenna mast (1).
  3. Remove the intake air duct screws (3).
  4. Remove the intake air duct.

  6. Remove the antenna base screws (1).
  7. Remove the passenger kick panel. Refer to Front Floor Kick-Up Panel Replacement .
  8. Disconnect the antenna base/cable from the instrument panel (I/P) extension cable.
  9. IMPORTANT: Attach a piece of mechanics wire or string to the antenna cable before the cable is removed from the body to ease installation and ensure proper routing after the cable/antenna base is replaced.
  10. Attach a piece of wire or string to the antenna cable end at the kick panel.
  11. Remove the antenna cable/base (2) from the vehicle, leave the mechanics wire or string with the body.
