Removal Procedure

    NOTE: DO NOT apply paint or clear coat to the antenna. This will damage the function of the antenna, causing poor reception or loss of signal reception.
  1. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Remove the sunshade from the headliner. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  3. Remove the lock pillar trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. IMPORTANT: Complete removal of the headliner is not required.
  5. Lower the front corner of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .

  7. Disconnect the wire harness to the roof antenna.
  8. Remove the antenna fastener.
  9. Remove the antenna from the roof.
