Track Bar Replacement

Track Bar Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Mounting Bolt
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  107 N.m (77 lb ft)


Tip: 
  • Support the rear driveaxle before removing either of the mounting bolts.
  • Finger tighten the mounting bolt. This will allow for movement in the track bar to align the opposite end mounting bolt hole with the mounting bolt.

3 Track Bar
Tip:  Disconnect the park brake cable from the track bar.
4 Mounting Bolt

Tighten:  140 N.m (103 lb ft)

5 Nut
