Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and air line if equipped with electronic suspension control (ESC).
  4. Support the rear axle.

  6. Remove the upper shock absorber nut and the bolt.
  7. Remove the lower shock absorber nut and the bolt.
  8. Remove the shock absorber.
