Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the electronic suspension control (ESC) sensor, if equipped. Refer to Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Electronic Suspension - Left or Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Electronic Suspension - Right .
  3. Fig 1: Upper Control Arm-To-Frame Bracket Retaining Nut And Bolt

  4. Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the frame bracket.

  6. Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the axle bracket.
  7. Remove the upper control arm.
