Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
- 2: This step inspects for proper transmission fluid level and condition.
- 3: This step verifies which condition has set DTC P0711.
- 5: The 12-volt test lamp is used as a fixed resistance.
- 6: This step ensures that the TCM monitors the TFT Sensor Signal circuit.

IMPORTANT:
Before clearing the DTCs, use the scan tool in order to record the ECM and TCM Failure Records. Using the Clear Info function erases the Failure Records from the ECM and TCM.
