Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution .

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
Remove the connector (2) from the lock (1).

Pry the electric park lock (2) off of the ignition lock cylinder case assembly (1).
