Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
  2. Install the cooling lines to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Replacement .

  4. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Replacement .
  7. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the Auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Replacement .
  8. Install the front grill assembly. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement (Suburban) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Yukon) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Escalade) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Tahoe Z71) .
