Case Extension Bushing Replacement (2WD Truck/Utility/Van Only )

Tools Required

  1. Inspect the case extension for the following conditions:
    • Porosity
    • Cracks
    • Nicks
    • Burrs
    • Worn bushings

  3. Remove the case extension oil seal assembly (34) (model dependent).

  5. Using the J 23062-14  and the J 8092  , remove the case extension bushing (33).

  7. Using the J 34196-4 which is part of kit J 34196-B  and the J 8092  , install a case extension bushing (33). See Special Tools .
