Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (RPOs LC9/LMG/LY5/L76/L92)  or Intake Manifold Replacement (RPOs LY2/LY6) .
  2. Reposition the brake booster vacuum hose clamp at the intake manifold.
  3. Remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold nipple.

  5. Remove the upper intake manifold cover nut.
  6. Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
