Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement (1500 Series)

Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement (1500 Series)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Stabilizer Shaft Bolts (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  50 N.m (37 lb ft)


Tip: 
  1. Remove the bolts from the stabilizer shaft bracket.
  2. Loosen the other stabilizer/shaft bracket bolts. DO NOT remove.
2 Stabilizer Shaft Bracket
Tip:  Remove the bracket from the stabilizer shaft insulator.
3 Stabilizer Shaft Insulator
Tip: 
  • Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator from the stabilizer shaft.
  • The stabilizer shaft insulator slits must be facing the rear of the vehicle.
