Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the drain plug.
Tighten: Tighten the drain plug to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
Fill the rear drive axle.
- Use the proper fluid, refer to Capacities - Approximate Fluid .
- For the proper capacity, refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .

Install the fill plug.
Tighten: Tighten the fill plug to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
