Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the brake pads. Refer to Front Disc Brake Pads Replacement (1500 Series)  or Front Disc Brake Pads Replacement (2500 Series) .
  4. Remove the brake pad retaining springs.

  5. Remove the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts (2).
  6. Remove the brake caliper bracket (1).
